Wednesday 14th May

The the landscape on the the eastern side of Cabo de Gata consists of a dramatic mountain range of extinct volcanoes created by the tectonic collision between the European and African plates; imagine this strange, wild and mostly untamed place is just a few days drive from the wettest part of Europe (aka the UK) and here we find ourselves in a sub desert and the driest place in Europe.

The unspoiled fishing village of Isleta del Mora

Fishermen bringing in the catch

The catch of line caught tuna

and more

The landscape and big seas created by the Levante wind that has been blowing non stop since the beginning of the week, but hey, its warm and its not raining.
