Tuesday 10th June

We spent the day taking in the city sites and its striking architecture; we found Valencia to be a vibrant and energetic cosmopolitan place.

Wednesday 9th June

Time for some beach, so our beach of the day is Peniscola another one of those picture postcard perfect places with its medieval old town on a rocky peninsular known locally as the city of the sea, dominated by a castle, a relic of the Knights Templar real estate business, however its big claim to fame is that along with the Vatican and the Papal Palace in Avignon it shares the kudos of having once been a Holy See, Pope Luna, Benedict XIII.

  1. Being an Aussie & only having seen Barcelona I had no idea how beautiful Valencia is. Just added to my bucket list.
